Microsoft CRM apps

Four apps, one view of the customer.

Dynamics 365 CRM consists of apps for sales, marketing, customer service and on-site technical service. All of them work on the same customer data, and you start with the one that delivers the most today.

Challenges

Three common problems Microsoft CRM solves.

Customer data in too many places, too much manual work and AI plans without a data foundation. What is behind them and how Dynamics 365 CRM changes that.

  1. Your customer data is scattered

    Today

Contacts sit in Excel, quotes in someone's inbox, service requests in a separate tool. Anyone who wants to know where a customer stands has to ask three colleagues. Reliable reports take a lot of manual work.

  2. Your team loses time on routine work

    Today

Data is entered twice, follow-ups are planned by hand, reports are assembled in Excel. That time is missing with customers, and the effort grows with every new hire.

  3. You want to use AI, but your data is not ready

    Today

AI-based sales forecasts or targeted customer outreach sound good. With inconsistent data structures, though, they do not deliver usable results.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Microsoft CRM.

Questions we often hear before a first conversation. If yours is missing, ask us directly.

What is Microsoft CRM called now?

Microsoft's CRM is called Microsoft Dynamics 365. Until 2016, it was sold as Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Today it consists of separate apps such as Sales, Customer Insights, Customer Service and Field Service.

Is Dynamics 365 a CRM or an ERP?

Both. Dynamics 365 includes CRM apps for sales, marketing and service as well as ERP apps such as Business Central for finance and operations. The two can be connected.

How much does Microsoft CRM cost?

The cost depends on the apps you choose and the number of users. Licenses are billed monthly as a subscription. You receive a specific quote for your situation in a consultation.

Is Microsoft Dynamics CRM being discontinued?

The name Dynamics CRM was replaced by Dynamics 365, and the product lives on there. Microsoft keeps developing Dynamics 365, for example with Copilot and AI agents. If you still run an older Dynamics CRM version, you should plan the move.

What exactly is a CRM?

A CRM (customer relationship management system) is software that manages all information about your customers in one place: contacts, opportunities, campaigns and service requests. That way every department works from the same information.

What are the three types of CRM?

There are operational, analytical and collaborative CRM. Operational CRM supports daily work in sales, marketing and service, analytical CRM evaluates customer data, and collaborative CRM connects departments and channels. Microsoft CRM covers all three.

Are SAP and CRM the same thing?

No. SAP is a software vendor, CRM is a type of software. SAP offers its own CRM solutions; Microsoft's CRM is Dynamics 365.

How long does a Microsoft CRM implementation take?

It depends on how many apps you implement and how much data is migrated. You get an estimate for your project in the first conversation.

Dynamics 365 or Salesforce: which fits better?

Both systems offer extensive features for sales, marketing and service. The biggest difference is the environment: Dynamics 365 comes from Microsoft and connects with Microsoft 365, the Power Platform and Business Central.

Which CRM software is best?

The best CRM software is the one that fits your processes and your IT. For companies that already work with Microsoft 365, Microsoft CRM is usually the obvious choice, because the CRM and their other tools come from the same vendor.

Find out which starting point fits you.

In a first conversation, NAVAX clarifies which Dynamics 365 app brings your company the most value.
