Challenges

Three typical problems, and how Power Platform solves them.

Approvals stuck in inboxes, special cases in Excel, solutions nobody knows about. Three patterns and what NAVAX does about them.

  1. “Our approvals get stuck in inboxes.”

    Today

Vacation requests, purchase approvals or invoice checks run by email, and nobody knows where a case currently stands.

  2. “There’s no software that fits our special case.”

    Today

Your ERP covers a lot, but not the checklist in the warehouse or data capture at the customer’s site. So it ends up in Excel again.

  3. “Every department builds something of its own.”

    Today

Without rules, flows and apps appear that nobody documents and nobody maintains.

Use cases

What does this mean for your department?

Choose your area. Examples of how Power Apps, Power Automate and Power Pages help there day to day, and which building block is behind each one.

Services

The building blocks of Microsoft Power Platform.

Three tools for your own apps, automated workflows and portals. For analytics and dashboards there is Power BI, for AI agents Copilot Studio; both have their own page.

  • Two colleagues working together at one screen

    Power Apps

Your own business apps without traditional development. Canvas apps are suited to mobile data capture, such as inspection logs, visit reports or device management. Model-driven apps map structured processes based on Dataverse. Both run in the browser, on iOS and Android and directly in Microsoft Teams.

    Power Automate

Automate workflows between your systems. Cloud flows connect Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Business Central and many other services through ready-made connectors. Desktop flows (RPA) take over clicks in older programs without an interface. With AI Builder, flows read invoices and forms.

    Power Pages

Portals for customers and partners. With Power Pages, you create secure websites where external users submit requests, check a status or upload documents. Their input goes directly into Dataverse and can immediately start a flow in Power Automate.

Process

How a Power Platform project works with NAVAX.

Four steps from the first conversation to a solution in daily use.

  1. 1

    Initial alignment

With a questionnaire or in a short conversation, NAVAX clarifies your starting point, your systems and your goals.

    What you have afterwards

A shared picture of where you stand and what should change.

  2. 2

    Workshop

In the AI workshop, two NAVAX consultants spend four hours with your team collecting ideas, rating them and prioritizing the use cases.

    What you have afterwards

A presentation and a management summary with a clear roadmap.

  3. 3

    Implementing the first use case

NAVAX implements the most important workflow as an app or flow and tests it with the people who will work with it.

    What you have afterwards

An app or flow your team has used in testing.

  4. 4

    Rollout and operation

Training for your users and admins, governance rules and, if you wish, ongoing support with regular deep-dive sessions and an annual review.

    What you have afterwards

A solution in daily use, with clear rules on who may build and change what.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Microsoft Power Platform.

What people often ask before a first conversation. If your question is missing, ask NAVAX directly.

What is Microsoft Power Platform?

Microsoft Power Platform is a low-code platform companies use to build their own apps, automate workflows, analyze data and create AI agents. It consists of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI and Copilot Studio and stores business data centrally in Dataverse.

How much does Microsoft Power Platform cost?

That depends on which components you use, how many people work with them and which licenses you already have. Some features, such as Power Automate with standard connectors, are already included in many Microsoft 365 plans. NAVAX clarifies with you before the project what else you need.

Can I try Power Platform for free?

Yes. Microsoft offers free trials and a developer plan you can use to try out Power Apps and Power Automate. For production use in your company, you need the appropriate licenses.

What can I do with Power Apps?

With Power Apps, you digitize workflows for which there is no ready-made software. Typical examples are inspection and maintenance logs, vacation and purchase requests, field service visit reports or managing devices and tools.

Do you need coding skills for Power Platform?

Not for simple apps and flows. Many business departments work with templates, drag and drop and Copilot, which suggests solutions from a description. For connections to ERP systems and for complex logic, however, experience is a clear advantage.

What is the difference between Power Automate and Power Apps?

Power Apps is the interface people use to capture and edit data. Power Automate does the work in the background, such as approvals, notifications or handing data over to other systems. In most projects, the two work together.

Does Power Platform work with Business Central?

Yes. There are ready-made connectors for Business Central that let apps and flows read and write items, customers, orders or documents. This way, you extend your ERP without changing the standard.

How do I stay in control when business departments build their own apps?

With governance in the Power Platform admin center. There, you set up environments for testing and production, use data policies to decide which connectors are allowed and see which apps and flows are in use.

Which workflow will you digitize first?

Whether it is a first app, an automated approval or a portal for your customers, NAVAX looks at your starting point and shows you where Power Platform delivers the most value.
