Frequently asked questions about managed services.
What companies most often want to know before starting a managed service.
What are managed services?
A managed service is a service that a provider delivers for you on an ongoing basis, as agreed in a contract. At NAVAX, it is software lifecycle management through a monthly service allowance: with a mutually agreed monthly flat fee, NAVAX protects your software for the long term and keeps optimizing it.
What can the allowance be used for?
What the allowance is used for and to what extent, we agree with you at the start and record it in writing, for example, one part for project management and one part for development and support.
How do we keep track of consumption?
NAVAX tracks the use of the allowance continuously and informs you and the project team transparently about consumption. In regular check-ins, we discuss open topics and the services called off with you.
What happens if the allowance isn't enough?
NAVAX informs you before the allowance is exceeded. If needed, an additional allowance can be agreed or the existing one extended.
When does the managed service start?
We set the start date together with you. The allowance always begins at the start of a month.
How long does the managed service run?
The managed service is concluded with a minimum term of 12 months. This allows NAVAX to reserve the agreed resources and capacities for your company in the long term.
What happens to hours that aren't used in a month?
The managed service allowance is planned and provided monthly. Unused hours are not carried over to the following month. That way, NAVAX can permanently reserve the agreed capacities for its customers.
How does the managed service relate to the NAVAX Customer Service?
The PREMIUM package of the NAVAX Customer Service includes a monthly managed service allowance. It can be added to ESSENTIAL as an optional service package, and a managed service is also possible without a Customer Service contract. Additional allowances can be agreed in each case.
What do managed services from NAVAX cost?
NAVAX sets the price for the allowance individually for each company. Price on request.
